- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup butter, softened (for frosting)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (for frosting)
- 2 tablespoons milk
- pink food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C.
- Cream butter and sugar, then add eggs, vanilla, and sour cream.
- Mix dry ingredients separately, then combine with wet ingredients.
- Form dough balls and place on lined baking tray.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are set.
- Prepare frosting by mixing butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, milk, and coloring.
- Spread frosting on cooled cookies and serve.

- Chill dough if needed
- Frost only after cookies cool
