Description

Pizza Grilled Cheese is a delicious twist on a classic sandwich, featuring gooey mozzarella, pepperoni, and marinara sauce between crispy buttery bread slices.


Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread
  • 4 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce (plus extra for dipping)
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning


Instructions

  1. Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place one slice butter-side down, spread marinara sauce, add mozzarella and pepperoni, and sprinkle Italian seasoning.
  3. Top with another slice of bread, butter-side up. Cook until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
  4. Repeat for remaining sandwiches. Serve hot with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
