8 slices bread
4 tbsp butter, softened
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup pepperoni slices
1/2 cup marinara sauce (plus extra for dipping)
1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
Instructions
Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place one slice butter-side down, spread marinara sauce, add mozzarella and pepperoni, and sprinkle Italian seasoning.
Top with another slice of bread, butter-side up. Cook until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
Repeat for remaining sandwiches. Serve hot with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
Notes
Use sourdough bread for extra crunch.
