- 4 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180°C or 350°F.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and cook onion and garlic until soft.
- Add heavy cream, milk, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, then stir.
- Grease a baking dish lightly.
- Layer sliced potatoes, pour sauce, and sprinkle cheese.
- Repeat layers and finish with cheese on top.
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for 25 minutes until golden.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
