  • 1/2 cup blue candy melts
  • 1/2 cup yellow candy melts
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Pop the Popcorn: Pop the popcorn using your preferred method (stovetop, air-popper, or microwave). Remove any unpopped kernels and place the popcorn in a large mixing bowl.
  • Melt the Candy Coating: In separate microwave-safe bowls, melt the white, pink, blue, and yellow candy melts. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted. Add the butter, vanilla extract, and salt to the white chocolate, stirring until smooth and well combined.
  • Coat the Popcorn: Drizzle each of the melted candy coatings over the popcorn. Start with the white chocolate coating, then add the colored candy melts in random sections to create the prismatic effect. Toss the popcorn gently to ensure even coverage, but do not overmix – the colors should remain vibrant and separate.
  • Form the Clusters: Once the popcorn is coated, use your hands or a spoon to form small clusters by gently pressing together small portions of the popcorn. Make sure the clusters are loose enough to maintain the airy texture but compact enough to hold together.
