Description

This ravioli lasagna takes everything you love about classic lasagna and makes it easier. With layers of cheese-filled ravioli, marinara, creamy ricotta, and melty mozzarella, it’s comfort food made simple.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds cheese ravioli (fresh or frozen)
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional), chopped


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread 1 cup of marinara sauce on the bottom of the baking dish.
  4. Layer half the ravioli, half the ricotta mixture, 1 cup of mozzarella, and 1 cup of sauce.
  5. Repeat with remaining ravioli, ricotta, sauce, and top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  7. Remove foil and bake uncovered for 10 more minutes until bubbly and golden.
  8. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

  • No need to thaw frozen ravioli — layer them directly.
  • Add extra sauce if you like a saucier lasagna.
  • Letting it rest helps the layers set and slice better.
  • Use broil for 2–3 minutes at the end for a golden cheesy top.
