Description

A quick and comforting twist on classic lasagna, this Ravioli Lasagna layers pillowy ravioli with marinara, ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan for a cheesy, saucy bake that’s effortless yet irresistible.


Ingredients

  • 2 (25-ounce) bags frozen cheese ravioli
  • 4 cups marinara sauce
  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. Mix ricotta, egg, parsley, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of the dish.
  4. Layer half the ravioli, half the ricotta mixture, 1/3 of the mozzarella, and more marinara. Repeat layers, finishing with ravioli, sauce, and mozzarella. Sprinkle parmesan on top.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.
  6. Let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

  • Do not thaw ravioli before baking — it cooks perfectly from frozen.
  • Use freshly shredded mozzarella for the best melt.
  • Let the lasagna rest before cutting to help layers set.
