Description

This Sea Salt Jasmine Green Tea is a refreshing fusion of floral green tea and creamy, salted foam. Perfectly balanced and easy to make at home, it’s a café-style drink that delivers elegance in every sip.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 teaspoons loose-leaf jasmine green tea or 1-2 tea bags
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1-2 teaspoons sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Ice cubes, as needed

Instructions

  1. Boil water and steep jasmine tea for 3–5 minutes. Remove tea bags or strain leaves. Let tea cool completely.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whip heavy cream with sea salt and sugar until soft peaks form.
  3. Chill your serving glass if desired.
  4. Fill the glass with ice and pour in the cooled jasmine tea.
  5. Spoon the salted cream on top gently to float.
  6. Optional: Sprinkle a small pinch of salt or green tea powder for garnish.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy the layered flavors.

Notes

  • Use high-quality jasmine tea for a more aromatic result.
  • Don’t overwhip the cream—soft peaks give the best texture.
  • You can brew and chill the tea ahead of time.
  • Coconut cream works great as a vegan alternative.
