For the Shrimp:
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
For the Garlic Bread:
- 1 baguette, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste

Make the Garlic Bread:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Brush both sides of the baguette slices with the garlic butter mixture.
- Place the slices on a baking sheet and bake for 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.

Cook the Shrimp:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add shrimp and garlic, cooking for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp turns pink and is cooked through.

Make the Scampi Sauce:
- Add white wine to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Stir in heavy cream, butter, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
- Cook for 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
