Description

A fresh and flavorful shrimp tomato basil pasta made with tender shrimp, juicy tomatoes, garlic, and herbs tossed with perfectly cooked pasta.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese


Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  4. Add garlic and cherry tomatoes and cook until softened.
  5. Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque.
  6. Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet.
  7. Toss pasta with the shrimp, tomatoes, basil, and parmesan cheese.
  8. Season with salt and pepper and serve warm.

Notes

  • Cook shrimp briefly to keep them tender.
  • Reserve a little pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
  • Use fresh basil for the best flavor.
