- 12 ounces spaghetti
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic and cherry tomatoes and cook until softened.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink and opaque.
- Drain the pasta and add it to the skillet.
- Toss pasta with the shrimp, tomatoes, basil, and parmesan cheese.
- Season with salt and pepper and serve warm.
Notes
- Cook shrimp briefly to keep them tender.
- Reserve a little pasta water to loosen the sauce if needed.
- Use fresh basil for the best flavor.
