Cheeseburger French Fry Bake is a comforting casserole loaded with seasoned ground beef, creamy soups, crispy French fries, and melted Cheddar cheese. An easy, family-friendly dinner everyone will love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds lean ground beef
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed golden mushroom soup
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed Cheddar cheese soup
  • 1 (16 ounce) package frozen French fries
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and onion until beef is no longer pink and onion is translucent. Drain off excess grease and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Return skillet to the heat and stir in golden mushroom soup and Cheddar cheese soup. Mix well and heat through.
  4. Transfer beef mixture to a 9×13-inch baking dish. Top with a layer of frozen French fries.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, until the fries are golden brown.
  6. Remove casserole from oven, sprinkle with shredded Cheddar cheese, and return to oven just until cheese is melted.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce or ketchup to the beef mixture.
  • Use your favorite frozen fries—crinkle, shoestring, or waffle all work well.
  • Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven.
  • Try adding pickles or sliced tomatoes on top for a true cheeseburger taste!
