Description

These taco cupcakes are a fun, bite-sized twist on taco night! Layered with seasoned ground beef, melty cheese, and wrapped in crispy wonton wrappers, they’re perfect for parties or a quick meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 taco seasoning packet
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • Green onions for garnish

Optional Toppings:

  • Diced tomatoes
  • Guacamole
  • Jalapeños
  • Black olives

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F and lightly grease a muffin tin.
  • Cook the ground beef in a skillet until browned, then add the taco seasoning and cook according to the packet instructions.
  • Layer: Place a wonton wrapper in each muffin cup, add a layer of beef, then sprinkle with cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese. Add another wonton wrapper, then repeat the beef and cheese layers.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the wrappers are crispy and golden.
  • Let cool slightly, then top with sour cream, salsa, green onions, and your choice of optional toppings. Enjoy!

Notes

Customize the toppings to suit your taste! You can add extra spice with jalapeños or make it extra creamy with guacamole.
