Description

Taco Ranch Bites are a quick and zesty snack perfect for parties or game day, packed with bold flavors and customizable ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale

Meat

  • 1 lb Ground Beef

Seasoning

  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning

Dressing

  • 1/2 cup Ranch Dressing

Cheese

  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese

Base

  • 1 bag Mini Tortilla Chips

Optional Add-Ins

  • Chopped Vegetables (as desired)
  • Fresh Cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Ground Beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked, breaking it up into small pieces as it cooks. Drain excess fat if necessary.
  2. Add Taco Seasoning: Stir in the taco seasoning and a little water as per the package instructions. Let it simmer for about 5 minutes until well combined and flavorful.
  3. Mix in Ranch Dressing: Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the ranch dressing until everything is nicely coated and creamy.
  4. Assemble the Bites: On each mini tortilla chip, add a spoonful of the beef mixture. Top with a sprinkle of shredded cheese and any additional toppings you desire.
  5. Bake: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and place the assembled chips on a baking sheet. Bake for about 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

  • Don’t Overcook the Beef: Keep it juicy by not overcooking your ground beef.
  • Prep Ahead: You can prepare the beef mixture in advance and assemble the bites just before baking.
  • Use Quality Chips: Choose sturdy tortilla chips that can hold the toppings without breaking.
  • Experiment with Toppings: Try different toppings like diced tomatoes, avocados, or olives for added flavor.
  • Serve Immediately: Taco Ranch Bites are best served fresh out of the oven for that perfect crunch.
