Description

Tahini dressing is a creamy, nutty, and versatile sauce made from sesame paste, lemon juice, garlic, and olive oil. Perfect for salads, grain bowls, wraps, and roasted veggies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 small garlic clove, grated or minced
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup cold water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together tahini, lemon juice, garlic, olive oil, and salt until combined.
  2. Slowly add cold water, whisking continuously, until the dressing is smooth and pourable.
  3. Stir in cumin and maple syrup if using. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  4. Store in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 7 days.

Notes

  • Use high-quality tahini for best flavor and texture.
  • If the dressing thickens in the fridge, stir in a splash of water to loosen.
  • Customize with herbs, spices, or chili for added flavor variations.
