Description

Texas Twinkies Egg Rolls with Honey combine smoky brisket, spicy jalapeños, creamy cheeses, and a golden crispy wrapper, finished with a sweet drizzle of honey. These handheld bites are the ultimate fusion of BBQ comfort and crispy snack perfection.


Ingredients

  • 10 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 1/2 cups cooked brisket, chopped
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapeños, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 2 tablespoons honey, for drizzling


Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or deep fryer to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, combine brisket, cream cheese, cheddar, jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Lay out an egg roll wrapper and place a spoonful of filling in the center.
  4. Fold the sides inward, roll up tightly, and seal the edge with water.
  5. Fry in batches for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Let cool slightly, then drizzle with honey or serve with a side of honey for dipping.
  7. Slice in half for serving if desired, and enjoy warm.
