- 1 1/2 cups cooked brisket, chopped
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 jalapeños, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- 2 tablespoons honey, for drizzling
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet or deep fryer to 350°F.
- In a bowl, combine brisket, cream cheese, cheddar, jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Lay out an egg roll wrapper and place a spoonful of filling in the center.
- Fold the sides inward, roll up tightly, and seal the edge with water.
- Fry in batches for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Let cool slightly, then drizzle with honey or serve with a side of honey for dipping.
- Slice in half for serving if desired, and enjoy warm.
