Tuna Jalapeño Poppers are spicy, creamy, and savory appetizers made with halved jalapeños filled with a flavorful tuna and cream cheese mixture, then baked until golden and tender.

- 10 medium jalapeños, halved and seeded
- 1 can (5 oz) canned tuna, drained
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
- 2 tablespoons breadcrumbs (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley or chives, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine tuna, cream cheese, mayo, garlic powder, onion powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth. Stir in cheddar cheese if using.
- Halve jalapeños lengthwise and scoop out seeds and membranes. Place them cut side up on the baking sheet.
- Fill each jalapeño half with the tuna mixture, mounding slightly.
- Top with breadcrumbs or additional cheese if desired.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly, then garnish with parsley or chives.
- Serve warm.

- Pat tuna dry to prevent watery filling.
- Prep filling ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to assemble.
