Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate (chopped or chips)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup brewed Turkish coffee (cooled)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cardamom
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until combined.
  4. Whisk in eggs, vanilla extract, and brewed Turkish coffee.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, cardamom, and salt.
  6. Gently fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Pour batter into prepared pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 25–28 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  9. Let cool completely before slicing into squares.
