Description

Chewy, creamy vintage nougat candy studded with red and green gumdrops — a festive no-bake holiday treat that’s perfect for gifting or sharing.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 2 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups red and green gumdrops, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt


Instructions

  1. Line an 8×8 or 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy lifting.
  2. In a saucepan or microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and butter.
  3. Melt over low heat (or microwave in 30-second intervals), stirring constantly, until fully smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt. Let cool for 3–5 minutes.
  5. Gently fold in chopped gumdrops.
  6. Spread evenly into the prepared pan, smoothing the top.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until fully set.
  8. Lift out, slice into squares, and store in an airtight container.

  • Cut gumdrops with an oiled knife to avoid sticking.
  • Let candy fully chill before slicing for clean cuts.
  • Use parchment paper to prevent sticking and for easy removal.
