- 2 cups shredded potatoes
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray or oil, as needed
Instructions
- Preheat your waffle maker on medium-high heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine shredded potatoes (squeezed dry), cheddar cheese, green onions, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper.
- Lightly coat the waffle iron with cooking spray or oil.
- Scoop about ½ cup of the mixture into the waffle iron, spreading evenly but not overfilling.
- Close the lid and cook for 5–7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
- Carefully remove using tongs or a fork. Let cool slightly before serving.
