Description

Wild Blueberry Gatorade is a vibrant, naturally flavored electrolyte drink made with real blueberries, citrus, and sea salt. It’s the perfect homemade hydration boost with a gorgeous purple hue and a refreshing taste.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup wild blueberries
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 cup coconut water (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add wild blueberries, water, lemon juice, maple syrup or honey, sea salt, and coconut water (if using) to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and fully combined.
  3. Place a fine mesh strainer over a large pitcher and strain the mixture to remove pulp and skins.
  4. Stir the liquid well to ensure the salt is fully dissolved.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness or salt as needed.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve cold over ice, garnished with extra blueberries or lemon slices if desired.

Notes

  • Use frozen wild blueberries for convenience and vibrant color.
  • Strain twice for a smoother finish.
  • Shake or stir before serving if stored in the fridge.
  • Adjust citrus and salt levels based on personal taste or hydration needs.
