Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large Russet potatoes, cut into wedges
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat and Prep

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Wash and dry the Russet potatoes thoroughly. Slice each potato in half lengthwise, then cut each half into 3-4 wedges.

Step 2: Season the Wedges

  1. Place the potato wedges in a large mixing bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the potatoes and toss again.
  3. Add the freshly shredded Parmesan cheese and toss to coat the wedges thoroughly.

Step 3: Arrange and Bake

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Arrange the potato wedges in a single layer on the baking sheet, skin side down.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wedges are golden brown and tender.

Step 4: Garnish and Serve

  1. Remove the wedges from the oven and transfer them to a serving platter.
  2. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley for added flavor and freshness.
  3. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

  • For extra crispiness, you can sprinkle the wedges with a little extra Parmesan cheese halfway through baking.
  • Serve with ranch, marinara, or garlic butter for dipping.
