Description

A fun burger-inspired taco made with crispy tortillas, seasoned ground beef, melted cheddar, lettuce, pickles, onions, and creamy burger sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup sliced pickles
  • 1/4 cup finely diced white onion
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, yellow mustard, garlic powder, and a pinch of paprika until smooth to make the sauce.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and season it with the remaining paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Cook the beef for 7 to 9 minutes, breaking it apart, until fully browned.
  5. Press a thin layer of cooked beef onto each flour tortilla and sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Place each taco beef-side down in the skillet and cook until the tortilla is crisp and the cheese is melted.
  7. Top with shredded lettuce, diced onion, sliced pickles, and burger sauce.
  8. Fold gently and serve immediately while hot and crispy.

Notes

  • Use lean ground beef so the tortillas stay crisp instead of greasy.
  • Add lettuce and sauce right before serving for the freshest texture.
  • Do not overfill the tortillas or they will be harder to fold.
