Description

A decadent sweet and savory panini filled with creamy brie, tart raspberries, and rich hazelnut spread, pressed between golden, buttery slices of rustic bread. Perfect for brunch, dessert, or a gourmet snack.

Ingredients

  • Rustic Bread Slices: 4 slices
  • Brie Cheese: 6 ounces, sliced
  • Hazelnut Spread: ¼ cup
  • Fresh Raspberries: ½ cup
  • Unsalted Butter: 2 tablespoons, softened

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Equipment: Turn on your panini press or heat a grill pan over medium heat.
  2. Combine Ingredients: Spread hazelnut spread evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Prepare Your Cooking Vessel: Lightly butter the outside of the bread slices to ensure crispness.
  4. Assemble the Dish: Layer brie slices on two of the bread slices over the hazelnut spread. Top with fresh raspberries, gently pressing them into the cheese. Place remaining bread slices on top, hazelnut side down.
  5. Cook to Perfection: Place sandwiches onto the panini press or grill pan. Press and cook for 3–5 minutes, or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  6. Finishing Touches: Remove from heat, let rest for 1 minute, then slice diagonally for dramatic effect.
  7. Serve and Enjoy: Serve warm with extra raspberries or a dusting of powdered sugar if desired.

Notes

  • Use hearty bread to avoid sogginess and hold in the melted cheese.
  • Let the brie come to room temperature for easier melting.
  • Press gently to avoid bursting the raspberries.
  • For a more indulgent version, add a drizzle of honey or chocolate.
