Flaky baked pastry pockets filled with seasoned beef and melted cheese, perfect for a savory handheld meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 300 grams ground beef
  • 1 small onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 egg


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C and prepare tray.
  2. Mix flour, butter, salt, and water to form dough.
  3. Cook beef with onion, garlic, and spices.
  4. Roll dough, add filling and cheese, fold and seal.
  5. Brush with egg and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
  6. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Do not overfill
  • Seal edges well
  • Use egg wash for color
