Crispy garlic bread loaded with creamy homemade chicken alfredo sauce, juicy chicken, melted mozzarella, and parmesan cheese baked until golden and bubbly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large French bread loaf
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, sliced
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat and cook minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Simmer gently until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add salt and black pepper to the sauce.
  5. Slice the French bread loaf in half lengthwise and place on the baking sheet.
  6. Spread softened butter over the bread.
  7. Spoon the alfredo sauce evenly over both bread halves.
  8. Top with sliced chicken and mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until cheese melts and bubbles.
  10. Broil for 1 to 2 minutes until golden on top.
  11. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the top and serve warm.

Notes

  • Toast the bread lightly before topping for extra crispiness.
  • Freshly grated parmesan creates smoother sauce texture.
  • Serve immediately for the best cheesy texture.
  • Reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer for crispy edges.
