Warm toasted wraps filled with juicy seasoned chicken, sautéed peppers and onions, melted cheese, and fresh toppings for an easy flavor-packed meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless skinless chicken thighs, sliced thinly
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 3 bell peppers, sliced thinly
  • 1 large onion, sliced thinly
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons fajita seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 4 lime wedges


Instructions

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Toss sliced chicken with fajita seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet.
  4. Cook chicken for 6 to 8 minutes until browned.
  5. Add sliced peppers and onions and cook until softened.
  6. Spoon filling onto tortillas and top with shredded cheese and lettuce.
  7. Roll tortillas tightly and place seam side down in the skillet.
  8. Cook wraps for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden and lightly crisp.
  9. Serve with sour cream and lime wedges.

Notes

  • Warm tortillas slightly before rolling to prevent tearing.
  • Do not overfill the wraps.
  • Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat in a skillet or air fryer for best texture.
