Golden crispy beef taquitos filled with seasoned beef and melted cheese, baked until crunchy and served with delicious dipping sauces.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 10 small flour tortillas
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook the ground beef and diced onion in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
- Add garlic, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes.
- Warm the tortillas slightly to prevent cracking.
- Fill each tortilla with beef mixture and shredded cheeses, then roll tightly.
- Place taquitos seam side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush lightly with olive oil and bake for 15 to 18 minutes until crispy and golden.
- Cool slightly before serving with salsa, sour cream, or guacamole.
Notes
- Warm tortillas before rolling to prevent splitting.
- Do not overfill the taquitos.
- Air fry leftovers to restore crispiness.
- Add jalapeños for extra heat.
