  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 8 crispy taco shells
  • 3 tablespoons chipotle sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1 sliced avocado
  • 1/2 cup diced yellow onion
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Lime wedges for serving


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Prepare lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and onions for toppings.
  3. Add olive oil to the skillet and cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess grease if needed.
  4. Stir in chipotle sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and diced onions. Cook for 3 to 4 more minutes.
  5. Fill taco shells with the beef mixture and shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Place tacos on a baking sheet and bake for 5 minutes until cheese melts and shells become crispy.
  7. Top tacos with lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, and extra chipotle sauce if desired.
  8. Serve immediately with lime wedges.
