Description

A comforting dairy-free chicken and buttered noodles dish made with a silky plant-based butter alternative and tender chicken.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked diced chicken breast
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 3 tablespoons dairy-free butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and warm cooked chicken.
  4. Add garlic, dairy-free butter, and vegetable broth to the skillet.
  5. Drain noodles and add to skillet, tossing to coat.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use good quality dairy-free butter for best flavor
  • Do not overcook noodles
  • Add pasta water if needed for texture
