Crispy baked chicken coated in crunchy nacho cheese chips for a fun and flavorful comfort food dinner.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless chicken fillets, cut into strips
  • 2 cups crushed nacho cheese chips
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a wire rack.
  2. Whisk together eggs and milk in one bowl.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Place crushed nacho cheese chips into a third shallow bowl.
  5. Coat each chicken strip in the flour mixture, dip into the egg mixture, then press into the crushed chips until fully coated.
  6. Arrange the coated chicken on the baking sheet and lightly drizzle or spray with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until crispy and fully cooked.
  8. Cool slightly before serving with dipping sauces.

Notes

  • Use a wire rack for crispier chicken.
  • Do not crush the chips too finely for better texture.
  • Air fry for extra crunch if preferred.
  • Reheat leftovers in the oven or air fryer.
