- 14 ounces milk chocolate, melted
- 2 cups shredded kunafa pastry
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup pistachio cream
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- 1/4 cup chopped pistachios
- 1 small pinch salt
Instructions
- Prepare a loaf pan or silicone mold with parchment paper if needed.
- In a bowl, mix pistachio cream, tahini, chopped pistachios, and salt until smooth.
- Melt the butter in a nonstick pan over medium heat.
- Add the shredded kunafa pastry and toast until golden brown and crispy.
- Stir the toasted kunafa into the pistachio mixture until fully coated.
- Spread a layer of melted chocolate into the mold and chill briefly until slightly firm.
- Add the pistachio kunafa filling evenly over the chocolate layer.
- Cover with the remaining melted chocolate and smooth the top.
- Sprinkle extra chopped pistachios on top if desired.
- Chill until fully firm, then slice into bars and serve.
