  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chili oil
  • 2 cups bok choy, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons green onions, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth

Instructions

  1. Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, brown sugar, rice vinegar, chili oil, and chicken broth.
  3. Add dumplings to the skillet with a splash of water and cover to steam until heated through.
  4. Cook egg noodles according to package instructions and drain while reserving a little noodle water.
  5. Add bok choy and sauce mixture into the skillet and simmer briefly.
  6. Toss cooked noodles into the skillet until evenly coated and glossy.
  7. Top with dumplings, green onions, sesame seeds, and extra chili oil if desired.
  8. Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

  • Reserve some noodle water to help loosen the sauce if needed.
  • Do not overcook the noodles to maintain the best texture.
  • Add extra chili oil for more spice and richness.
  • Fresh garlic and ginger provide the best flavor.
