Easy creamy cheesy pasta coated in a rich silky cheese sauce with garlic, cheddar, parmesan, and cream cheese for the ultimate comforting dinner.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces pasta of choice
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley


Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
  3. In a deep skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and add cream cheese. Stir constantly until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add cheddar cheese and parmesan cheese gradually while stirring until fully melted.
  6. Season with salt and black pepper.
  7. Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce and add reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
  8. Sprinkle fresh parsley over the pasta and serve immediately.
