- 12 ounces pasta of choice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over medium-high heat.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
- In a deep skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and add cream cheese. Stir constantly until smooth and creamy.
- Add cheddar cheese and parmesan cheese gradually while stirring until fully melted.
- Season with salt and black pepper.
- Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce and add reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
- Sprinkle fresh parsley over the pasta and serve immediately.
