Description

Garbage Bread is a golden, crusty stuffed loaf filled with seasoned ground beef, melted cheese, and savory add-ins. Perfect for parties, weeknight dinners, or using up leftovers, it’s comfort food at its finest.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound Pizza Dough
  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Diced Tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat and stir in Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and diced tomatoes. Let cool slightly.
  3. In a bowl, mix the meat mixture with cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  4. Roll out pizza dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
  5. Spread filling down the center, fold sides over, and seal. Place seam-side down on baking sheet.
  6. Cut diagonal slits across the top for steam. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with parsley. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • Chill the filling before rolling for easier assembly.
  • Swap beef for turkey or plant-based protein if desired.
  • Serve with dipping sauces like mustard, ranch, or marinara.
