Description
This Gordon Ramsay-inspired steak marinade combines bold flavors from Dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and fresh rosemary to create a perfectly tender and flavorful steak. Ideal for ribeye or sirloin steaks, it’s a must-try for steak lovers!
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 (8-ounce) ribeye or sirloin steaks
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
- 1 teaspoon crushed black pepper
- ½ teaspoon coarse sea salt
Instructions
- Make the marinade: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, garlic, Dijon mustard, whole grain mustard, balsamic vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, rosemary leaves, black pepper, and sea salt.
- Marinate the steaks: Place the steaks in a shallow dish or resealable bag and pour the marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for deeper flavor.
- Grill or pan-sear: Preheat your grill or pan to high heat. Remove steaks from the marinade, allowing any excess to drip off. Grill or pan-sear the steaks for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust to your preferred doneness.
- Rest and serve: Let the steaks rest for 5 minutes before slicing, allowing the juices to redistribute. Serve with any remaining marinade drizzled over the top.
Notes
- If you prefer your steak more well-done, adjust the cooking time accordingly.
- For added flavor, consider marinating the steaks overnight to allow the flavors to deepen.
