Description

Sweet and savory Honey Butter Skillet Corn, made with buttery goodness, honey, and cream cheese, is a deliciously easy side dish that pairs perfectly with any meal. Quick to make and irresistible!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons butter (salted preferred)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 bag (16 oz) frozen corn
  • 2 ounces cream cheese, cut into chunks
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Melt the butter and honey: In a skillet pan, melt the butter and honey over medium-high heat.
  • Cook the corn: Once melted, add the frozen corn and cook for 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the corn is cooked through.
  • Add cream cheese: Add the chunks of cream cheese, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir everything together and let it cook for another 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cream cheese is melted and the mixture is well combined.
  • Serve: Serve the Honey Butter Skillet Corn immediately. Any leftovers can be stored in a covered container in the fridge.

Notes

  • For extra richness, you can use unsalted butter and adjust the salt to taste.
  • If you’d like more creamy texture, add a little more cream cheese or even a splash of heavy cream.
  • This dish is also delicious when topped with chopped fresh herbs, like parsley or chives.
