Description

A creamy, floral Honey Lavender Latte made with espresso, steamed milk, and homemade honey lavender syrup. Comforting, elegant, and easy to make at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
  • 3/4 cup milk (any kind)
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon dried culinary lavender
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Optional: additional honey and lavender buds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a small saucepan, bring water and lavender to a simmer. Remove from heat and stir in honey. Let steep for 5 minutes, then strain to make the syrup.
  2. Brew espresso or strong coffee and pour into your serving mug.
  3. Add 1 to 2 teaspoons of honey lavender syrup to the coffee and stir to combine.
  4. Heat milk until steaming and froth using a milk frother or whisk.
  5. Pour milk over the coffee mixture, holding back foam with a spoon. Spoon foam on top.
  6. Garnish with a drizzle of honey or a sprinkle of dried lavender if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use culinary-grade dried lavender only for safe, clean flavor.
  • Make the syrup ahead and store refrigerated for up to a week.
  • Adjust sweetness by using more or less syrup based on taste.
