Description

Crispy homemade hot honey garlic wings coated in a sticky sweet and spicy garlic glaze with bold flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 pounds chicken wings, split
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with foil. Place a wire rack on top.
  2. Pat wings dry and toss with baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  3. Arrange wings evenly on the wire rack.
  4. Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
  5. In a saucepan over low heat, combine butter, garlic, honey, hot sauce, and soy sauce until warm and glossy.
  6. Toss the baked wings gently in the sauce until evenly coated.
  7. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the wings and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Dry the wings thoroughly before seasoning for extra crispy skin.
  • Use freshly minced garlic for stronger flavor.
  • Toss the wings in sauce right before serving.
  • Air frying also works beautifully for this recipe.
