- 1 pound chicken breast
- 8 ounces egg noodles
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook egg noodles until tender.
- Season chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat skillet and melt half the butter, cook chicken until golden and cooked through, then remove.
- In the same skillet, add garlic, broth, lemon juice, zest, and cream, simmer gently.
- Return chicken to skillet.
- Add cooked noodles and remaining butter, toss until coated.
- Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
- Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor.
- Do not overcook chicken.
- Add broth when reheating to loosen sauce.
