Creamy lemon butter chicken served over soft egg noodles, packed with bright citrus flavor and comforting richness.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound chicken breast
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil and cook egg noodles until tender.
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat skillet and melt half the butter, cook chicken until golden and cooked through, then remove.
  4. In the same skillet, add garlic, broth, lemon juice, zest, and cream, simmer gently.
  5. Return chicken to skillet.
  6. Add cooked noodles and remaining butter, toss until coated.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Use fresh lemon juice for best flavor.
  • Do not overcook chicken.
  • Add broth when reheating to loosen sauce.
