This Mexican Pizza is a delicious fusion of Mexican flavors layered on a crispy tortilla base with seasoned ground beef, refried beans, zesty sauce, and melted cheese. Perfect for a quick dinner or a fun twist on taco night!

- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup refried beans
- 1 cup salsa
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup sour cream (optional for serving)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat, add taco seasoning and water, and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Lightly brush tortillas with vegetable oil and bake on a sheet for 3-4 minutes per side until crispy.
- Spread a thin layer of refried beans on two tortillas, then top with the seasoned beef.
- Place another tortilla on top of each and spread salsa over the surface.
- Sprinkle with shredded cheese, diced tomatoes, black olives, and green onions.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Slice and serve with sour cream if desired.

- Use corn tortillas for a crunchier texture.
- Add jalapeños for a spicy kick.
- Make it vegetarian by swapping beef for sautéed veggies or black beans.
