Ingredients

  • 2 medium red onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt


Instructions

  1. Prepare a clean glass jar.
  2. In a bowl, mix vinegar, water, sugar, and salt until dissolved.
  3. Place sliced onions in the jar.
  4. Pour brine over onions until fully covered.
  5. Let sit for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Refrigerate and use as needed.
