- 1 cup white vinegar

Instructions
- Prepare a clean glass jar.
- In a bowl, mix vinegar, water, sugar, and salt until dissolved.
- Place sliced onions in the jar.
- Pour brine over onions until fully covered.
- Let sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Refrigerate and use as needed.
