- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chunks
- 1 cup Nutella
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease a deep pie dish.
- Beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract, then mix until combined.
- Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Slowly combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chunks.
- Spread half the cookie dough into the prepared pie dish.
- Spoon Nutella across the center layer.
- Cover with the remaining cookie dough and sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the edges are golden and the center remains slightly soft.
- Cool for 10 minutes before scooping and serving.
Notes
- Freeze the Nutella briefly before layering for a thicker gooey center.
- Do not over bake or the center will lose its scoopable texture.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for the best experience.
- Store leftovers covered and reheat briefly before serving.
