Description

A rich and gooey Nutella stuffed cookie pie with golden buttery edges, melted chocolate chunks, and a warm molten chocolate hazelnut center.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate chunks
  • 1 cup Nutella
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease a deep pie dish.
  2. Beat butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract, then mix until combined.
  4. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Slowly combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chunks.
  7. Spread half the cookie dough into the prepared pie dish.
  8. Spoon Nutella across the center layer.
  9. Cover with the remaining cookie dough and sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top.
  10. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until the edges are golden and the center remains slightly soft.
  11. Cool for 10 minutes before scooping and serving.

Notes

  • Freeze the Nutella briefly before layering for a thicker gooey center.
  • Do not over bake or the center will lose its scoopable texture.
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for the best experience.
  • Store leftovers covered and reheat briefly before serving.
