Description

A comforting slow cooker chicken and buttered noodles dish with tender chicken and soft noodles in a rich buttery sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 700 grams chicken thighs boneless
  • 300 grams egg noodles
  • 80 grams butter
  • 600 ml chicken broth
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 20 grams fresh parsley chopped


Instructions

  1. Prepare slow cooker on low.
  2. Add chicken, broth, garlic, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook for 4 hours.
  4. Shred chicken and return to cooker.
  5. Add noodles and butter.
  6. Cook for 30 minutes.
  7. Stir and serve.

Notes

  • Do not overcook noodles
  • Stir gently after adding noodles
  • Add broth if needed for consistency
